My best friend and I did everything together. We talked on the phone when were not together. She was the maid of honor in my wedding and I was her matron of honor. We saw each other less and less over the years. And the best friend I grew up with and saw almost every day and talked to several times a day for over 20 years, I have not seen or spoken to in over 20 years. It was real...for a while.

OMG, yes they are real, its just a matter if there true or not, but they can be the best thing in the world, someone you can share your joys and failures with, someone who will listen and be there for you, someone who doesn't care what you look like, but will tell you when something dint look good on, you can cry on their shoulder, and yell at when our mad, best friends are the best

Dont know about your question but YES, best friends are humans that not only help you in life, but they tell you the truth no matter if it hurts you , because they want to see you good and accomplish everything you want to do.....
Friends are like 1000, but Best friends are like 3

a time will come when you find out who your true friends are. trust me. I was in a car accident recently and was in the hospital and out of all my friends only the one i can consider my bestfriend because i know that whatever happens or if i need her then she will be there. just ask yourself has any of them been with you when you needed them the most or been with you through thich and thin?

I think best friends are real....they are someone you can trust with your life and they won't stab you behind the back...
