The "Leeches with Intent" were the U.S. business owners who have been criminally inviting and hiring undocumented foreign workers in order to exploit them with low wages and avoid paying Americans a legal and decent wage.

3 things need to be done to solve the ILLEGAL ALIEN problem.
1. Secure the border.
2.Stop the incentives for illegal aliens to come here. Fine and/or jail employers for hiring them. Do not rent or sell housing to illegal aliens. Do not provide ANY benefits to them that legal citizens and legal immigrants are entitled to.
3. Deport those that left if step 2 doesn't work.
P.S. Cesare214...the border should have been closed/secured LONG before either Bush was president, much less 9/11!!
As a matter of fact, amnesty to illegals was granted when Reagan was president, proof that illegal aliens are not a "new" problem.

No, that's too narrow minded...no offense. While in part that may be true for more the liberal side. They don't want to discriminate..."all are welcome" beliefs of the past. And the conservatives like the cheap labor and support their rich buddies who use it. So, both sides are at fault for the mass influx of immigration. It's always been a concern in the back of everyone's minds. Then it went full-blown after the threat of terrorism. NOW they are worried. But, honestly, it's too late. There are too many here and we are having a hard time controlling it without stepping on big businesses toes and not being discriminatory. Lots of people are afraid to take real action.

Dealing with the ILLEGAL alien criminal problem isn't a matter of discrimination. It is a legal matter - they are criminals because they are breaking our immigration laws.

We haven't "opened" our borders, they are just really porous. As for the illegals that are here, LEECH is a really good term. They are sponging off the taxpayer and they are destroying our country.

This is not a racist comment. It doesn't matter WHERE they are from, they don't belong here!!!

Just the politicians. The sentiment amongst most citizens and legal immigrants is that the problem needs dealt with.

The corporation owners opened the borders for their own greedy interests.

America needs a better policy. One that will make it easier for legitimate people to emigrate and that will encourage fair pay practices by companies that hire.

I am totally against illegal immigration. Round them up & send them home, yesterday! Heck yes, I discriminate, I don't want them here! If you want to come here do it legally, if not, your going home! Our government doesn't seem as upset over this as the people of this country are, why not? The people have spoken loud & clear, what don't they understand?
