Don't bother. Most concerts use metal detectors that will alert on it. They'll confiscate it if they catch you with it, and probably kick you out as well.

wear extra big shoes and slip 'em inside, maybe put a rubber case around your camera just in case? In most concerts, they just screen you with the hand-held medal detectors.

Point and shoot cameras are usually allowed in concerts. It's the professional cameras that aren't allowed.

Just walk in with it in your jacket pocket. There's no way that security can search everyone. I take mine to every concert I go to.
