Does the punishment fit the crime here?
i allowed my nearly 21 y/o neice to marry in my home without her telling her dad////my brother...i didn't like doing it...but was feeling pressured to do so from my neice...who was actually more like my daughter....we were extremely close...long story short.....when her dad found out.....i was totally banished from the family....even my dad threw me away....that was 3 years ago......they say they will never forgive me......i'm not allowed communication with their other 2 children either....he says he has to protect his children from me......before this i was the perfect aunt and sister......was available to babysit at a moments notice.....kept at least one of his kids every week end....we were all as close as a family could be.....i miss them so very much and blame myself for losing them...the neice is back in their good graces.....he says its all my fault.....much more here.....but no space left.....should what i did be a life time punishment?

Hello all

I am trying to edit some JPEGs of mine and I don't know how I can cut off one half of the image and save the remaining half as a full image. (and not one half picture and one half empty space)

Can someone tell me how to do this? I have Adope Photoshop Elements and Paint on my computer.

My digital cameras, including my camcorders really don't capture "enough" area. I always find myself in a corner against a wall to get the most of a scene.

I wish that manufactures would now concentrate on the lens, instead of the insane sizes of megapixels and fancy color digital menus.

The only cameras that do what I want are my 2-1/4" Yashica and my 35mm Monolta film cameras. I really like digital though.
I have no room for my darkroom anymore, and digital is cheaper and quicker.

Okay, so there's this guy at my school and I like him a lot. I've kinda liked him for a long time, but I haven't told anyone. Recently, he started staring and we've made eye contact and smiled a few times. The thing is, he's probably a 9 out of ten on the social ladder whereas I'm probably a 7. I live in an apartment that apparently has some kind of wall blocker thingy that prevents screws from being inserted into the wall itself to install a curtain rod. What kind of rods could I possibly use that don't require a deep hole to be put into the wall, or possibly no holes at all?
And no - I am opting to NOT take the thumbtack/pushpin route :)

was just going to say thank you for all the staff that have been very helpful for the preparation of Chinese New Year. I say that I only did five per cent of the work, whilst the other 95% are done by all the staff....xx for the decoration, xx for the story time preparation and xx for the banner....

So this guy that i met several months ago and i have been talking. We went out once and he's really really nice and polite, but nothing is really happening. I'm not sure if he likes me, or if he's just being nice because thats the kind of guy he is.

He was away this weekend, and his friend called me and told me that he wanted to hang out with me, but I'm not sure if it was a joke or not... Basically, what should I do about the situation? How do I move foward, and actually have something come out of this without directly talking or asking him about it?

TNA, WWE, WSX, what's fake about it all? Is it just the feuds and story lines?

It seems pretty hard to fake slamming a person with a wrestling move, pretty hard to "fake" jumping off the turn buckle or slamming a steel chair in their face? It only looks like the punches and some kicks are fake to me.
