Hemphilia. Its a bleeding disease, the blood doesn't clot. To much intermarrying in the royal family.

Prince Leopold has the disease.
Tsarevitch Alexis had the disease.
Alphonos the 13th sons had the disease.

The daughters of Queen Victoria carried the disease and married into the royal families of Europe. Therefore spreading it.

Women carried the disease but rarely suffer from it, its usually the male off spring that do.

Quite a few of the European royals have haemophilia but it seems to have missed the current British royals.

The King's Evil is a disease called scrofula which, it was claimed, could be cured by a touch from an anointed king.

Probably hemophilia, a blood disease that is transmitted through the mother, I believe and was prevalant in the royal families of Europe because everyone was related to each other - they really did marry their cousins!

It is haemophilia. The son of Czar Nicholas had it (Rasputin was supposedly able to stop the bleeding), as did Queen Victoria's son the Duke of Albany (I think).
