As long as she wasn't being forced, yes I would accept it. Can't say i would want to watch though.

I think it's really sweet that you're concerned about your sister. We are doing courtship in our house, but this isn't really an issue that has come up yet as the kids are still young teens. I think it would depend on the kissing and touching. If it was "go-get-a-room" heavy petting, then I would probably speak to her about it and your concerns for her well-being. If you approach her that you are concerned for her, then she hopefully will receive it well. You can't really force her to follow your convictions on this, but you can share them with her and tell her why you are concerned for her.

Courtship is simply that you wait until you find someone that you feel God has brought into your life and then you are not alone together. It's like the old-fashioned courtships. You spend time with each other's families or go out with a chaperone. It is a form of dating, but controlled. It goes back to what I seem to keep saying in my posts tonight. Choices. You simply don't put yourself into a situation where things can go too far becuase a chaperone is always there and you are never alone--perhaps a concerned brother? My girls have chosen (so far anyway) to save themselves for their future husband, so this prevents any temptations to that choice. I just pray the boys they will one day marry will help them in their walk with the Lord.

Good luck!

Um...she's not your property. If they are making you uncomfortable you may want to leave the room. Or, if they are making out all over the place, ask Mom to confine them to one spot or have them go outside. I do not know how old your sister is and certainly if she is very young it would be cause for concern, but other than that it's her business. This is the 21st century. Perhaps you should stop watching. You can always tell your sister it's worrying you and why, but you must accept that she has a right to privacy.

All the best.

If I had a non-married sister who had a boyfriend who kissed her, I would think that is quite normal. If they kissed anything more than a peck in front of me, I would say, "Hey!" because that is not considered polite. Usually a woman chooses a husband who was first her boyfriend in Western society (and most cultures in this world). That is normal.

Dude, it happens to Daphne all the time. We just have the decency not to watch! If you are sitting around watching a man fondle and kiss your sister enough to be obsessively writing about it on here--You have a problem. You can get treatment, it is really quite common for brothers to fantasize about their sisters.

I don't have a sister but I would find nothing wrong with it. I like touching and being touch so I don't see why my sister or brother wouldn't enjoy it too if I had one.

If she's over 18 there's not much you can do about it. and if she's not 18 there is still not much you can do about it. Just hope she knows what she is doing.

If she's not married, then what's the problem? She has a right to date guys and be with them. I don't understand why this bothers you.

That is very disrespectful .It is not acceptable but we must accept imperfection in this world right now. If I am in any position to discourage it or stop it, lets say due to their age or something I will certainly stop it, but if I am not I must learn to accept things and worship God.

As long as they're not really going at it..... a little PDA is OK...even if it's not her husband.
