My son is 11.5 months old and I will be weaning him from breastfeeding soon. Breastfeeding allowed me to lose quite a bit of weight after giving birth to him and I am wondering if I will GAIN weight once I wean him. What kinds of experiences (body changes) have you had after weaning? Was weight gain an issue?

I am not in agreement with calling people names, but since when does a person (i.e. Isaiah Washington) have to go to rehab for expressing himself? Ummm, the 1st ammendment comes to mind here. Also, I haven't seen anyone get in trouble for saying b*tch, *ssh*le, or any other colorful words hollywood feels necessary to put in their movies and television. Since when is the word 'f*ggot' illegal? Also, for all you people who equate equality for black people with equality for gay people, get real! Those are such different issues there is no comparison. One's skin color is something one is born with- worthy of equality. Gayness is a choice- a temptation just like any other temptation. And if you want to prove otherwise, please be aware that there is no such thing as a gay gene! Nope, never been proven even though the media would brainwash you to believe otherwise. I am wondering what will be made "acceptable" next.... Polygamy? Pedifilia? Murder? Rape? Incest?

how is it that the guys who actually like me are not what im lookng for, or are too close of friends with and then the ones that I like want nothing to do with me?? Is it me or am I just being picky? I mean, I kinda have to be b/c the guy I want isn't anywhere to be found... Taking away health insurance from stay-at-home parents and their kids? How, exactly, does this contribute to or protect the "sanctity of marriage" or benefit even a single family or child? EVERYONE knew this was the likely outcome when they voted Yes on Michigan's "marriage amendment"- every newspaper in the state predicted it- and though the "Family" groups denied this was their goal, they wasted no time at all filing lawsuits once it passed.

This will probably get removed by a Bible Thumper who values appearances over real people and real families, but people with Family Values like this positively sicken me!

I have a front loading Kenmore HE 2 dryer and it will not start. I have power coming to it, I can change cycles, but when I press the start button it just gives me a beep. I tried to unplug it and plug it back up and it still didn't work. I looked it up on the internet & a site said that my lightbulb might be the reason it doesn't start. I just want some feed back before I call the Sears guy to fix it. Thanks in advance!!

Ben Franklin tried to lead his life, checking himself before others had to with a list of 13 virtues. He placed each one of the virtues on a separate page in a small book that he kept with him for most of his life. He would evaluate his performance with regard to each of them on a daily basis. He would also select one of the virtues to focus on for full week. Franklin often emphasized these 13 virtues in his Poor Richard's Almanack.
