I have a front loading Kenmore HE 2 dryer and it will not start. I have power coming to it, I can change cycles, but when I press the start button it just gives me a beep. I tried to unplug it and plug it back up and it still didn't work. I looked it up on the internet & a site said that my lightbulb might be the reason it doesn't start. I just want some feed back before I call the Sears guy to fix it. Thanks in advance!!

I've had my dryer for only one year. I purchased it brand new, and the controls & the key pad is computerized.

You can try pressing and holding the end-of-cycle button for 3 seconds - this may reset it if it is locked... Do you still have the manual? There may be some troubleshooting information there too...

ma'am, it could be 2, things, the timer or the door switch, if the unit still under warranty let'em do what they supposed to do, if not, give your husband an ohm meter ,a screw driver and get him off the couch,....lol.
