Q:Is it me? A: Yes
Q: Am i being picky? A:Not picky, just unrealistic.
Q:Is that bad? A: Not necessarily. Just manage your expectations.
Q:I just want whats best for me!? A: Don't we all? That may be part of the problem. In a real relationship, you also want what's best for BOTH of you.
Gut check: You say you want the big romantic kiss. A lot of girls do. But could it be that you have a lot of other requirements, too? Like confident, GOOD-LOOKING, sensitive, and so on? Have you ever rejected anyone in an unkind way? Perhaps the one you are looking for lacks some confidence, maybe because he's afraid of getting rejected like so-and-so was. Decide on what really counts. A lot of guys who have a lot of swagger and confidence up front may really be shallow in the long run. Start looking deeper at some of the guys around you. Guys aren't wired for romance. If you want that romance, you are going to have to pick a guy with potential, and build him up.
Behind every great man is a great woman.

Well, every girl has a dream of finding the perfect guy. Unfortunately it doesn't always happen the way that you want it to. I don't think you're being too picky, because a girl has to like something about the guy she's with... but don't expect a fairy tale romance. It happens sometimes, but it's few and far between.. not to mention, most new relationships have the "thrill" in the beginning, and it slowly beings to die away after a little while. It doesn't mean he isn't the right one.. it just means you need to do something to "spice" up the relationship again. If you can find a guy who is nice to you and genuinely cares about your feeling, and you aren't too shallow to realize his feelings.. then that may be your shining prince. Who can't resist a guy who adores you?

I have the same problem. Being picky is not bad, you should never settle for someone just because they happen to be there. Just don't be so picky that you miss out on someone that might not be exactly what you were looking for. You should always give someone a chance.

Too close of friends? Your significant other should be your BEST friend. You are being picky. What you want to happen will never happen. Just live your life, have fun with those around you, and don't concentrate so much on a "prince charming" fairy tale.

I'll forward this to the proper avenues. In the mean while you may have to either setlle on being an old maid, or take some initiative on the guys you want.
