In this relationship that is going great! Recently my BF got his divorce court date and things have been very stressful for him. I have done all that I think I can do to support him and let him know that because of our love - even if it's just that he needs me to listen - I will & have. Lately he seems distant and less comunicative & I sort of understand why (maybe he feels as though he's "dumping" on me) - In any case, it appears as if he is keeping his distance from me and he's starting to drink a bit and fall into a greater depression, just as all his S*#t is about to hit the fan - is there anything I can do to get him to open up or should I just back way off till after the fire is put out?

I know this question sounds strange but I have dealt with depression most of my adult life. I used to be on Zoloft but that didn't work after awhile and then I was put on Effexor but I had cardiac problems as a side effect and it didn't seem to work all that well anyway. My problem is that I know I need to go back and get some help but I am so afraid that my husband will leave me if I do. He had an affair three years ago and it happened because he felt that he couldn't make me happy. With therapy we stayed together. I went off the depression meds last summer and was doing well until I started clinicals and my husband starting working 10 to 12 hours a day. School was stressful, I have three kids ages 10, 9, and 6, and my husband is so tired when he gets home from work that he is distant. I quit school because it was too difficult so I feel like a loser. I feel alone, cry all the time but I put on an act as much as I can for him but it is getting more difficult. I'm so scared.

I accidentally switched the channel this morning to MTV and this show called WILDBOYZ was on. Two guys were taking a bath in swamp water with little alligators swimming around. They were really scared and someone thought the alligators would bite their "jewels" off. This really made me sick to my stomach! Then they ate and THREW UP fried scorpions a while later! What kind of entertainment is this??

IM 5'0 blonde hair blue eyes, and i was 110, very muscular, and never found it hard to attract men. im now 150, and feel like i couldnt, attract a blind man. I do have a boyfriend, but i dont feel like he is attracted, as much. I cant seem to motivate myself to lose the weight, i want someone to want me no matter how much i weigh, so again, why does weight make men so scared.

I actually heard of a story that a person lost weight by eating dog food. Of course they would eat less food (because of the taste) however if eaten with the combination of a daily vitamin, will it cause any adverse effects?
