If you are using Winzip it has installed a context menu to easily do this via your Windows Explorer.
Just select all the files you want to compress ... right-click & choose "add to zip".

If you have XP Pro Or Home, select the files you want, right click, and then go SEND TO, and select compressed file and that will start a zip file.
If not on XP, use a Programm, like Winzip or win rar.... .rar is the same as .zip so w/e zip file you want to zip its easy

Install Winzip or Winrar and compress. Winzip does better than winrar generally but on some file formats u need rar is the best.

FilZip
Best around.

You just right click on what you want to zip.
Choose FilZip and it creates the zip file.
Extremely easy to use.
