IM 5'0 blonde hair blue eyes, and i was 110, very muscular, and never found it hard to attract men. im now 150, and feel like i couldnt, attract a blind man. I do have a boyfriend, but i dont feel like he is attracted, as much. I cant seem to motivate myself to lose the weight, i want someone to want me no matter how much i weigh, so again, why does weight make men so scared.

There are men who appreciate more weight than less, and in some cases really like alot of weight.

There are several things you can work on to help yourself. Be comfortable with who you are... if you feel guilty about being a bit overweight, don't want to change it, you won't feel attractive. Also try to be attractive for your boyfriend i.e. dress, hygiene, makeup etc.

It is very possible to be heavy and sexy. There are even men who find 600 pound women irrresistable. Would you be attracted to that kind of man? Are you attracted to 300 pound, un-muscular men? 400 pound?

Weight does not make men scared, and you have no reason for saying it does, other than to insult them for not liking you.

Look at a silhouette of a women who is fit, and one of a women is is 5' and 150 pounds. One of those silhouettes immediately looks like a woman, and one looks like something that might be a women or might be a sweet potato or a pillow or a cloud or....

Men want women to look like women. They also know that someone who goes from 110 to 150 has issues; admit it, you do. Men don't want women with issues.

Your boyfriend wants you, doesn't he? How long are you together? It's a natural way for the butterflies and crazies to calm down after a while but that doesn't mean he doesn't like you.
Are you equally appreciative of him? Or are you just with him until a better option comes around? You say you want someone to want you yet you have a partner. Maybe he's picking this up and it puts him off.

Weight matters because being large is unhealthy. If you don't care enough about your body to take care of yourself, men will see you as lazy and having low self-esteem. Men are scared off by women with low self-esteem, as they assume you will come with a lot of emotional baggage. A few pounds overweight is nothing, but obesity is irresponsible.

I think every man deep down worries that his woman could become extremely overwiehgt down the road if she is heavy when she is younger. In most cases a woman who is a little overweight is not a problem, but many women who are very obese later in life started off just a little overweight when they were younger.

So many guys view it as a red flag.

the problem is yours...you do not feel sexy or attractive at your heavier weight... weight does not make men scared...our lack of convidence is interpreted by men that we are the ones not interested..i have met many people carrying some extra pounds that were drop dead gorgeous...because it starts on the inside

Because excessive weight does not look healthy. It just plain ISN'T healthy. When you are fit, it makes everything easier - walking up stairs, carrying groceries, moving around, etc. Do you really want to stay at that weight? I'd start getting into shape- not for anyone else but for myself. Good luck.

Oh I beg to differ. I'm 407lbs of flab and I'm very sexy! Women find me irresistible and I turn heads wherever I go! My wife, she's the skinny one. She's not as nice looking as I'd like her to be but I make do because I'm resourceful.
