This president thinks that the war is winnable. He also proclaimed victory 2 months after it started, but that's old news.

It's almost four years since this war started and there's no end in sight with the upcoming surge in troop levels. Iraqi civilians and American soldiers are killed every day, but for what? At what point can you or the president say the US military is winning or won the war? And, to Americans, in the Military or not, what is the gain?

My fiance and I have been talking about marriage for a while now.
And he did ask me to marry him..but he didn't give me a ring.
We did however get matching wedding bands a while ago. But it isn't like an engagement ring!
He did take me about 6 months ago to pick out a ring that I liked..but he never bought it.
I feel bad asking him if he's going to get it.
Does this mean that he's changed his mind on getting me a ring?
How do I bring it up?

I mean like 600 lbs or more, do you feel sickened by them or do you feel pity for them?

I kind of pity them because they obviously have a problem and I can't imagine what it would be like to drown in your own body fat.

ive just noticed that one of breasts is significantly larger than the other! i noticed the the other week that said breast felt a little lumpier than normal?? in other words ive found something that doesn't feel right but dont know if this is paranoia due to family history!!!!should i go docs????

Ever since I picked up the french horn, i have been enamered with it. I love everything about it and how versitial of an instrument it can be. I really want to attend a college that will allow me to further pursue my dream of becoming a professional horn player and composer for movie scores but that doens't exactly fit my parents dream for me. My mom wants me to play, but at a big university in the marching band and my dad, he just doesn't understand that something like the horn takes as much compitment,disipline, and determination as anything else. How do I explain any of this to them?

Okay, all my questions have either been ones of profit and were associated with study/learning - however, I wish to post one of a simple poll. I've always wanted to know this, so I thought I'd ask.

Many people have told me that the second and third sequels to "The Matrix" "totally sucked" in their opinion, and that it didn't measure up to the original. I thought that the second and third did a very good job!! What do you think?

The wife says nothing, but accelerates to 40mph.

The husband says, "I want to bring the two boys with me to California to start a new life."

Again, the wife says nothing, but hikes it up to 60mph.

The husband then says, "I also want the car and insurance money."

so i have this ex boyfriend...we dated on and off for about a year, but we broke up because he cheated on me due to the fact that i was a virgin, and wasnt ready to give away my virginity. After we broke up, he always claimed to still love me, but i was never sure if he did. He went on to begin having sex with our entire drill team, while he was dating my x-friend. (also virgin)

although i love my current boyfriend with all of my heart, whenever my ex comes around i feel okward and helpless putty in his hands. i avoid him at all costs, but always run into him at one time or another and feel butterlies and feel compelled to talk to him...why? and what to do?
