The "PDF" file is just like the paper that you print out from printer but it can be viewed on the computer. I mean you can print and convert any documents using the PDF creator and it can be viewed on PC so you do not have to print it out for real. Because it is just a file on your PC, you can transfer, email or keep it on your computer as a small file and don't have to mess up with the real file and printed paper.
Get the for free "PrimoPDF" if you are using Windows XP at http://www.primopdf.com/
OR try "PDF Creator" program if you're using the other OS.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreat...
After you install this program , you can see another printer "Primo PDF" printer . If you would like to print it to PDF, select PrimoPDF as your printer.
That's it !

https://www.pdfonline.com/convert_pdf.asp is what I use. As long as it is under 2 MB you should be right. You don't have to install any software. Make up your document in MS word, save it, open the link above. Browse to your document, decide what to call it, put in your email address (and it can be a yahoo address), click Convert to PDF. It will upload your document, convert it and email it back all within about 30 seconds to a minute. You don't get spam and it doesn't get any easier than that!!!

first you will need Acrobat Adobe full version that lets you make and change PDF files you create. If you just have the shareware version it is only a reader.

You need to have Adobe write software. If you only have reader, the free portion of Adobe, you can't do it. If you have write, it is an option in word on the toolbar.
