It is normal for the breasts to asymmetrical (one side larger than the other). However, if this is a sudden occurrence and your breasts have recently gotten 'lumpy', yes you should see your doctor. He may do an ultrasound to see what the lumps are. It could be an infection of the lymph glands or something more serious. But you won't know until you check it out.

Due to your family history i would get it checked out asap.It is quite normal on the other hand to get lumpier breasts around the time of your period, drs reccomend checking your breasts mid cycle due to this.
Not all lumps mean cancer,it could be anything from cysts, hormones or even milk ducts depending upon if you are pregnant or have recently had a baby.
Anyone who notices any changes in their breasts should seek medical attention just to play it safe.Earlier they catch anything the better.I do hope this is of some help and that everything turns out to be ok.My thoughts are with you.
Get it checked out.

Most women if not all have one breast bigger than the other, but if you feel the difference is that significant then make an appointment with either your GP or practise nurse (they are usually very good with breat issues) Breats do generally tend to be lumpy, especially at certain times of the month but again its always safer to have these things checked out. One of my breast is bigger then the other but was told this was due to breast-feeding my two kids. Ive also had two lumps removed (both benign) So I would always suggest a check-up....Cant do any harm but could help diagnose any problems. Goodluck x

Listen to the advice of others and go to the doctor. You know this already ;) Chances are that if you feel an overall lumpiness (especially one that came on quickly) you just have cysts which will go away on their own (and are quite common especially around your period). So don't panic. Just go to the doctor right away so that you know what is going on. Ignorance is not bliss!

Depending on your age, your irregular breast growth may actually be part of your development (e.g. the most significant growth continues until the age of 18 quite frequently). When breasts are growing their density and consistency generally changes quite dramatically. Some women have naturally lumpy breasts, especially if they are on the "larger" side.

Irregular breast growth is perfectly normal, and it may become quite dramatic. However, if you are unfortunate (like myself) then the difference may be too dramatic, and you may wish to pursue cosmetic surgery later on. In my case, one of my breasts didn't grow at all passed the initial budding stage, but the other grew into a DDD. 2 to 3 cup sizes are quite common though, and perfectly normal -especially in women with larger breasts.

So yeah #1 go to the doctor, and he/she will certainly be able to tell you what is going on.

Definitely go to the doctor and have a breast exam done. Particularly, because you have felt abnormal lumps. These should be checked out. More than likely they are a condition called fibroid cystic disease. Although not normal, 50% of women have this. Fibroid cystic disease is basically lumpy breasts. The lumps are usually more noticeable during ovulation. They can often be painful. Caffeine drinks can cause painful lumpy breasts when you have fibroid cystic disease; which means you should avoid drinking caffeine drinks as much as possible. As far as one breast being larger than the other; yes, this is a condition that can be hereditary. If it is significant to the point of not being able to fit bra sizes, or is making you self-conscious, you may want to talk with your doctor regarding breast reduction to even out both breasts.

The point of a breast exam is basically to look for changes. So if something seems different than normal to you, get it checked out.

You HOPE it will be nothing. The fact that it might turn out to be nothing is not a reason to avoid getting it checked out! Even if it's nothing, it is a chance for you to talk with the doctor about your concerns, what to look for, etc.

Your choices are to get it checked out and most likely find out you're OK, or to sit and worry about it until you actually do make yourself sick. Which sounds like the better option?

Uterine fibroids are usually not dangerous, but can cause immense discomfort and lead to complications like anemia from heavy blood loss. In rare cases, they may cause complications that affect pregnancy.

In cases where there are no symptoms, treatment may not be necessary. However, proper diagnosis and treatment may be required if your symptoms are severe or causing complications. Along with conventional treatment, you can try some natural home remedies. Read here https://tr.im/Bt60j

Most women have breast of different sizes and that is normal. Sometimes lumps can be "fibrocystic disease" which is very common and is benign. Some lumps are cancer. You should see your doctor for an exam, mammogram and ultrasound especially if it is something new.
