It's true all babies are different, but as a general guide, babies usually roll over by 4 months, hold a bottle by six months (although it's better to hold them while they feed rather than let them feed themselves, alone), and sit up around eight months.

There is no really "normal" time because all babies are different. Some babies roll over at 4 months, some at 8 months. I think a baby will usually be sitting up by 8 months , if not sooner. I don't think babies should hold thier own bottles at all. I think it's a good time to cuddle with your baby. When they are independent enough to walk around with their own bottle, they should have a sippy cup.

Well as every baby's progress is different, my first rolled over at 4 months (average) my youngest at 1 1/2 months not normal, but my little one did everything faster just so she could keep up with her sister, she held her bottle at 4 months and was walking at 9 months. My oldest held her bottle at 7 months and walked at 12 months. sitting is anywhere from 4 months to 8 months, my first sat at about 5 months and my youngest at 4 months so, don't worry and dont force it. It will happen when your baby is ready. Oh Some babies will never hold their own bottle, they like it when mommy or daddy does it for them, its a comfort thing, but I know, any independance will give you a bit of a break but let your baby tell you, she'll sit up while youre making sinner one night and you will be thoroughly elated!

Different ages for different babies....mine held a bottle at about 3 months, rolled over at about 5 1/2 months and sat up at about 6 months....that doesn't mean your baby won't do these things sooner or later than other babies.....normal is different for every baby...

Babies develop at a wide range of between right on the average developmental age to a delay of a couple of months.
Each of my babies (3 boys) developed at different rates. My first son turned from his stomach to his back his second week of life! It startled him so much that he did not even try it again for another month! He was about 2 months old when he learned to turn from his back to his stomach.
He was so lazy about learning to sit up that I finally started coaching him at 6 months old, which is the average age to sit up.
I have a firm rule about babies holding bottles. If they are dexterious enough to hold a bottle it's time for the sippy cup. This can happen between 7 months on up to 1 year old.
I found a book that you might want to check out at your local library or even buy online at Barnes and Nobles. It's on sale for $2.00! The title is: The Mother of All Baby Books
by Ann Douglas
It goes into pretty good detail about a baby's development, what to expect, etc.

My son Landon is 6 mos in a week. He rolls back to his stomach, but not reverse, he holds his bottle but drops it a lot, and no sitting up yet. Sitting up usually happens in 6th month or 7th. Looks like he has almost mastered the others. check out babyenter.com for milestones, it goes into details and they have cool videos to see what your baby should be doing each month.

There is no "normal" time for these things. Your baby will do these things when he/she is ready.
I have a 11 month old, who is walking with some confidence, but there is another girl a work, who's baby was born 1 month earlier, is still doing the commando crawl on the floor. She says he has no intention of walking yet.
So let nature do her thing, and don't wish they were doing things more rapidly, because it goes by too quickly as it is.

Each baby progresses at there own pace, If you take your Child to the Peditrician, they will actually ask you of the things your child is able or not able to do & will let you know when its not Normal or normal based on the childs own will..
