I am on a strict budget for my wedding and have been advised by many not to give out favours because they are a waist of money and people just leave them behind at the end of the night. What do you think? Is it rude?

My son's new day care center will close for two days in Feb so the staff can attend a training conference together. In our state, they must all have 16 hrs of training annually and CPR/First Aid (not counted as part of the 16 hours of development training). I have worked in day care before and worked as a resource person for day care/parents-I know how tough the job is and I truely appreciate them for doing this-hey my child will benefit directly if they keep up with training. The owner of the center and I talked one night at p/up and she was saying that some staff fuss a bit for the cost of the training and getting a room and see it as a burden. Since the owner has a limited budget (if you find a way to make big $$$ in day care-let me know) she can't cover all the costs. It was just a talk, but now it has me thinking. Would it be wrong, or impolite, to give the center a Visa gift card to help with gas and lodging on the training trip? I want to show my support, not ruffle feathers!

My best friend is almost exaclty a year younger than me. She is still in high school and I am not. About three months ago I started kinda seeing her best guy friend. Things were fine with that at first but then she started getting weird and telling me she wished she never introduced us. I stopped seeing him about two months later, not because of her but for other reasons. I then started seeing my high school sweetheart and she was still weird about it. Ever since then, things between us arent the same as they used to be and i dont like it. She always has to have our guy friends at her house and if they call me and not her she gets an attidude towards me. Lately, I really do not feel like being her friend, because she makes so angry all the time. I feel like she is trying to single me out so she has all the attention. I sit back and think, "Hey *****, your a year younger, why are you acting like this towards me when I'm supposed to be your "best friend"".

We had our taxes done last week and the $$ was direct deposited into our account already. When I got home yesterday there was a w-2 in the mail from unemplyment I received for the month of January that I COMPLETELY forgot about $2000 with 0 taken out for federal so obviously I owe something, but I dont know how do I start all over if they have already been done and even already got my refund, or should I just wait and see if they even catch it and then pay it when they catch it????

my mate is convinced his missus of 8 years(they have 2 kids) has had an affair with a mutual friends husband. This is confusing me too! Anyhow the bottom line is he wants to know the truth. Fair enough as he claims he will stick by her. Thing is, he wants to know 'details'. Positions they did, stuff like that. If he says he will stick by her whatever she says I reckon knowing every little in and out (sniggers!) will just do his head in more. He is pretty sensitive and loves his family to bits. If he is willing to put it in the past surely he should do exactly that and forget it (as best he can!) and concentrate on the future. What do you lot think?

It never ceases to amaze me how badly you treat the members of your own religion. I’d guess that about half of the non-religious people I know were once Christians but were so badly treated by other members of their church they left to never return. I’ve heard some pretty horrific stories.

2) Are you just looking for fresh meat when you are trying to convert people?

Hi guys

A few months ago I met a gorgeous guy and we were strongly attracted 2 each other but he told me he's in a relationship. His GF and him have been together for two years now and that he's happy with her. So i did nothing but than we met around Christmas, get together again and we spent 7 hours of talking and laughing just like on our first date. Later we got a room in a hotel and had 4 hours of amzing sex. He told me that he liked me so much that he thought he would never forgive himself if he had not taken his chance with me. But after we had sex he asked me not to call him or text him because he could get caught by his GF.
He told me he would call as soon as he can - when he can get away from her and be with me. But it's been almost a month now and he hasn't called yet. Do u think I was just a one-night stand? I don't think so. What should I do?

for my late afternoon snack I sometimes eat an apple, but it seems like I feel hungry-er after I eat the apple (or orange) than before! Fruit juice (i only drink 100% juice) such as Apple or Cranberry Apple does not have such effect on me. Can someone explain this?!?
