for my late afternoon snack I sometimes eat an apple, but it seems like I feel hungry-er after I eat the apple (or orange) than before! Fruit juice (i only drink 100% juice) such as Apple or Cranberry Apple does not have such effect on me. Can someone explain this?!?

By eating an apple you get just vitamins but your organism needs carbonhydrates and proteins, that is why you`re still hungry after eating an apple. What is written on the carton of the juice is never true!

You don't feel full because you need to eat some protein! Cheese and beans are easy ways to get protein, but the best way is to buy vegetarian meats. I recommend anything from grocery stores that's the Morning Star brand. They have all different kinds of vegetarian meals. If you don't want frozen foods, there's always the option of buying canned vegetarian meats. I know Stater Brothers sells both of these things I've mentioned. Also, you could find some other options by going to health food stores like Trader Joe's.

Most likely what you ar feeling is not hunger, but craving. When you are craving something sweet a fruit does not satisfy that craving. The fiber does fill, but it does not satify like a piece of chocolate or some other sweet. In time your body will adjust and the fruit will be satisfying, but it will take a few weeks for you to adjust to this. Juice probably satisfies your thirst, which may be mistaken for hunger.
