I have never heard of phentermine causing a false positive for cocaine....I'd ask that the test be repeated.

ok i'm a probation officer and i have given many a drug test and taken many myself so phentermine should not have given u a positive result for cocaine... as for the person who asked if u had eatten any poppy seeds... good lord u would have to eat about 3 dozen in one sitting for it to affect ur drug sceen... if ur sure ur clean ask to be tested again but call ur doc and make sure the phentermine won't show up positive in a drug screen if they say yes just make sure that u get a copy of the script and take it to the drug testing agency with u.. u should be just fine from there...

As the above alrighty stated, pot is often laced with coke. Poppy seeds will not have you test positive for cocaine. Poppy seeds will have you test positive for Herion, Oxy, Vicodine, T3's or other opium derived drugs. There is a good chance if you smoke pot and don't have a steady or reliable source you probably have some coke in your system.

Retest and tell the tester what meds u r on. Proof's in the pudding. Also cocaine stays in the system for awhile when did u last used if at anytime?

Call the doc you have the script with. If there's a cocaine derivative in it, they can write a note and send it to the job (?) to explain.

UMMM, yeah right...Was this drug test for probation or a job? Because if it was for probation, they ask you before the test if you are on any meds. If it was for a job and you KNEW that you didnt do any, i would have immediately retook the test.

That same thing happend to a friend of mine. If you have smoked pot it may be laced with something. That's what happend to him any how.

Did you eat anything with poppy seeds on it? That will give you a positive result.
