It never ceases to amaze me how badly you treat the members of your own religion. I’d guess that about half of the non-religious people I know were once Christians but were so badly treated by other members of their church they left to never return. I’ve heard some pretty horrific stories.

2) Are you just looking for fresh meat when you are trying to convert people?

3) Won’t it be better to try and clean up your own backyard before you rush out to bring others in?

Our backyard will NEVER be perfect. [but you're right, it sure could use a cleaning] We are all sinners. And, NO we're not looking for fresh meat. [at least I'm not!]

Hey, I believe I'm a Christian, and first off, I want to tell you I'm not mad at you at all, there are some awful stories out there, I've heard some of them. The ppl who turn others off from Christianity, like a pastor that believes you have to be perfect to be a Christian, is wrong. Anyone who turns people away from Christianity isn't a Christian, they may claim to be one, but they aren't. I'm so terribly sorry that anyone would claim to be a Christian, and then totally destroy the purpose they claim to live for, loving and being passionate, caring for others no matter what they've done in the past. No body's perfect, I hope you can someday forgive those so-called "Christians" who were really showing you satan's power over ppl.

1. I have no clue what you're talking about, we presbyterians are a pretty laid back bunch.

2. I've never tried to convert anyone.

3. See answers to #1 and #2, you seem to be talking out of the wrong end.

Are you referring to Christians with this statement?

Or President Bush.

I think his backyard needs a good cleaning.

What things were done to these people..if it were chastisement..we are to help our brothers who are falling to help them up by telling them they are doing wrong..by this they will either mature or get mad and leave.

It is sad that someone would let other people come between themselves and GOD. There are many out there that say "Yes" to GOD but do not do his will.
