I juist read an article which suggested that certain US airlines do not properly reimbuse people for lost luggage; that even if your luggage itself is brand new, they base reimbusement at its "depreciated" value. Also they do not reimburse you properly for new clothing you may have been carrying, even if you have receipts. Has anyone here ever lost something very valuable because of airline carelessness?Or are checkers stealing luggage? I mean the luggage doesn't just disappear!

My question may sound awfully bigoted, but having worked my socks off to provide myself and my family with 'the pleasures in life', as did my parents before me, why should i tolerate witnessing a low life, lazy wretch, trying to sponge off innocent passers-by. O.k, some of them may have problems. But as my gran used to say, "pull your socks up. Pull em up till your toes bleed". And i did. And quite honestly, so should they.

and i'm bi, not that that makes any difference really..and i have never even told it to his face that i'm bi but i've given my parents all kinds of hints that tells them that i am not straight. i just don't understand that why does he think he has the right to tell them that. to make things worse all our relatives are old and very christian.

i am not a smoker but my mother is and i am really afraid for her! she takes about 10 fags everyday and people say smokin damages ur health and narrows your life(((( and each time i tell her to stop she keeps shouting at me!((( i am curious tho... why did she start smoking? or Why do people smoke?? everything seems to be in place, I feel happy,go getter full of enthusiasm and extrovert,but I equally feel just the opposite of all that I mentioned before.Why does it happen ? or is it that everyone feels more or less the same ?
Is it something to do with frequent changes & alterations in the mental chemistry ?

Over the years of use, my baking sheets have become coated with black grease. I've tried soaking the pans in hot, soap water and scrubing with a Dobie, but it does not remove any of the baked-on stuff. Is there anything I can do, or should I just replace them?

I have heard of some legends and rumours surrounding pregnancy and the gender of the baby - just today, my aunt and my grandmother were guessing the gender of the baby I'm having by the food I'm craving (which is mainly chocolate and anything savoury - especially rashers for some odd reason).
As well I have heard of even an astrological way of determining the gender of the baby, from the sign the moon was in at the time of conception - which proves harder than it sounds, as it's hard to say when you actually concieve.

I would love to hear more of those legends, as I love to hear them either way, and maybe to figure out what gender the baby would be. So far everyone, including myself, is convinced it would be a girl.

A man gets up in the morning feeling really tired,totally wrecked but he had the day off so it didnt matter.

He decided to watch telly for a few hours,he watched a bit of football,had a beer,went to the shop for a packet of crisps,came home and watched some more telly.

During the break an ad for mens beauty products came on and he thought to himself that that man was really attractive,then he remember he was gay,no suprise there he thought to himself and he carried on the day like a normal human being.

That night he went to bed.

Right,is that man a hommo all day or was that man straight all day except for the hommo moment he had while the ads were on?
