I like them both because, hey are so wonderful of how decorations are put up. If you want to save money you can have it at home with homemade food and beautiful decorations. If you are Italian and Spanish descent you will love homemade food so go for home bridal shower with homemade food. Their is nothing wrong with good homemade food from friends and relatives.

Any restaurant, doesn't even have to be a fancy one. My bridal shower was an at home one and there was cake (which I couldn't eat) and bad punch, and other sweet stuff. It was so uncomfortable with all the stupid games and sitting in a circle having to open gifts and ooh and ahh at them and pass them around.
I so much rather would have had a nice brunch with bloody marys and bellinis than sitting around in my Sunday-go-to-church clothes and pretending to like it.

All of the showers that I have been to have been at event halls (not at hotels) and everyone would bring homemade food and decorations there. You could get rowdy because no one was there except us. I would prefer this because it is usually more spacious than a house, and restaurants can get expensive.

At a restaurant there's other people there...even if you have a private party room it's still not private. I think a home is more homey and alot more fun and alot cheaper. And homemade food is always a plus and it's fun to do your own decorating. What ever you decide have a great one!!!

I would go with the homemade bridal shower. That way, you don't have to go through all the trouble with expensive reservations. And, more people could come if you are on a budget!! Hope I helped!!

I would prefer at home, however I would have the food catered in from a restuarant, so that one doesn't have to be put on for making food. It's more personal and private and everyone will feel at ease and not worrying about others watching you or being too loud.

I would prefer one at home because I think it would be more intimate and casual then one at a restaurant. I think it would also be fun to make it a potluck and people can write the recipes down and give it to the bride (if they want to). It would be more relaxing and inexpensive. What can I say, I'm a simple girl with simple tastes.

At home with homemade food and decorations. It's cheaper and more fun. You can be as roudy as you like with out being kicked out. There's no rush to get out of there.
