some say Costco 'cause they have unlimited return policy. Best Buy but the extended warranty too $$.? Chicagoland area
should wait a little longer til they go down in price?
I'm not a TV freak ..I only need for watching news and few movies

Careful on the cheapest - mine died at almost 13 months old and they do NOT have repair parts for it (and the warranty was just for 1 year (12 months).
Cheap can be VERY expensive.
Make sure costcos return is truly unlimited, sears is not !

LCD is going to last longer. Plasma put off some heat and when it comes to electronics, heat is not good for any electronics, cut there life cycle down.
