SONIA’S WISH TO BECOME THE NEXT PM TO MAKE WAY FOR ELEVATION OF DR. MANMOHAN SINGH TO BECOME THE NEXT PRESIDENT

This news is encircling in the political circles since 25th November 2006. Political observations are of the opinion that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s Rajya Sabha term expires on June 14, 2007. There is no official word as yet from Congress on whether he will be fielded for another term from Assam or he may emerge as the ruling party’s candidate for the President’s post, as is the speculation within the party.
The presidential elections are due next year with the new President required to take office on July 25. The election process begins a month before and Dr Singh is on the list that is being circulated on the political grapevine as a possible successor to Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.
The argument behind this claim is that Dr Singh will turn 75 next year, is more than qualified for the job, will have the support and respect of all politica

My husband postulated an interesting theory to me the other day, and I would like to see what people think of it.

He does not believe carbon dating is as accurate as many scientists would have us believe, he only trusts it dating back about 1000 years or so. Beyond that, he feels the error margin is too great to call it 100%.

With that said, he theorized that if carbon dating is incorrect, the Neanderthal skeletons we have found may not be as old as we think they are. And we know from history that people are afraid of what they don't understand and segregate people that they don't understand/fear.

So what if Neanderthals were actually colonies of people with something similar to Down Syndrome? Segregated from the normal population due to the ancient people's lack of understanding as to what was wrong. And we know that two people with Down Syndrome are more likely to have a child with Down Syndrome. So the colonies could have had family units.

Is this a new theory?

Is there really a difference in a white person calling a black person ni**er, and another black person calling a black person ni**a? I understand that to each race they mean something different, but I don't understand why either one would be acceptable? These words were used to demean black people and take their sense of humanity. Why would it be okay to perpetuate this, no matter who says it, or what you want it to mean.

One day my housework-challenged husband decided to wash his
Sweatshirt. Seconds after he stepped into the laundry room, he shouted
to me, "What setting do I use on the washing machine?"
"It depends," I replied. "What does it say on your shirt?"
He yelled back, "University of Oklahoma."
And they say blondes are dumb...

A couple is lying in bed. The man says, "I am going to make you
the happiest woman in the world." The woman replies, "I'll miss you..."

"It's just too hot to wear clothes today," Jack says as he
stepped out of the shower, "honey, what do you think the neighbors would think if I mowed the lawn like this?"
"Probably that I married you for your money," she replied.

He said - Shall we try swapping positions tonight? She said -
That's a good idea... you stand by the ironing board while I sit on the sofa and fart.

Q: What do you call an intelligent, good looking, sensitive man?
A: A rumor

It's not about a power struggle - I think it's anxiety. I've seen some posts here that talk about how to slow down the evening routine (have quiet-time before dinner: replace TV and computer games with reading and music), but I think our 8 year old needs a little extra. We don't want to do melatonin, as there are concerns that he will grow dependent on it. Can you suggest some natural supplements (good for kids), and/or alternative treatments? How effective are some 'specially formulated' music CDs over CDs I could make from my own classical music selection? (Y'know, the ones that claim to help delta wave patterns, etc)

People let bad things happen, quit blaming GOD for all of your problems. I think it's time for people to start taking responsiblity for there own actions.
