I guess the real question is, who is your god?
If you're faithful and trusting in the only true God and the atonement He has supplied for you, than I say yes.

The death of Christ is the only way that our sins can be atoned for. God loved us before we love Him. He loved us so much that He sent His Son to die for our sin, and whoever believes on Him shall have everlasting life with Him. God is the faithful one. When we realize the extent of that sacrificial love, then we repent and ask for forgiveness through Christ, then we learn to love God and be faithful to Him and His calling on our lives.

That depends upon who your God is. If you are speaking about the God of the Bible, it is by trusting and believing in Him and trusing in the merits of His Son that your sins will be atoned for.
Love and faithfulness will be the demonstration of your appreciation for this. It will also be the sure evidence that you truly believe.

It may only be a matter of theological terms but your sins are not atoned for by your love and faithfulness. The Bible says we are saved by the grace of God, not your works of love and faith. Sin is atoned for in only one way and that is the blood of Jesus Christ. Nothing else will cleanse you not even your love and faithfulness.

I believe I've heard that one for Christianity. I've also heard that to be the reason why Christians are "right." I asked why it was right and was replied to with "Well, the other religions base it too much on actions, while mine is based on belief in God and acceptance of his son Jesus Christ...."
So yeah, in short, if you're a Christian your sins should be atoned for. Don't think about it too much though because you might think your way out of it, and I don't think it's easy to get back in.
Best Regards,
Zach

Atonement is through the Death of Jesus Christ. Your faith in him is what SAVES you, your faith or love does not atone for your sin.
If your faith is in anything else but the Death of Jesus Christ, you will die IN you sins, for they are not atoned for.
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement

The Blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all unrighteousness.
By hearing, believing, repenting, confessing, and being immersed in baptism for remission of our sins Christ's blood continues to cleanse us as long as we are faithful and obedient to the New Testament Church that he died for.
We must worship God only as he authorizes in his word , the Bible. Adding to or taking away from what God wants is a sin and not acceptable worship to him.
God tells us what he wants, how he wants it, when he wants it.

Having faith in Jesus Christ is having faith in God. the father and the Son are one. "Love and faithfulness" can no longer compensate for sin. God, Who set up the regulations, suggested atonement comes in the process the blood. So, the two i ought to die a non secular dying (eternal separation from God, who's solid), or i ought to locate somebody else to die for me. yet, everybody else ought to die for his or her very own sin. this is everybody excpet jesus simply by fact He led a sinless existence here in the international. He gave his blood to be obtainable for our sins. yet, we ought to have confidence and confess that he's the Christ (Messiah, purely Son of God) and have confidence that God raised Him from the ineffective. Romans 10:9. Then we can be saved.

Yes, faith is the cornerstone of your relationship with God. Your sins are gone when you ask Jesus Christ to live in your heart (you accept Him as your Savior). This is what God longs for -- YOU, and your acceptance of His son.
