Well, first of all, I believe that terrorism is not something to joke about.
Now, to your question. Do you honestly think that if congressmen were killed it would be positive? Americans would elect new congressmen and I am not sure if they would be better than the current. Besides, congressmen are people. I do not believe they should be killed. And I am not even considering the number of casualties, among those could be anyone, including your friends and family.
I personally was not affected by these attacks. My fathers flight to the U.S. was delayed, and that is about it. But I think they caused enough damage.

Well, for all we **really** know, United 93 (the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania when the passengers overpowered the terrorists) could have been intended for Congress. The general buzz has been that 93 was headed for the White House, but I don't think we can really know that for sure, beyond a doubt.

Also, information has come out indicating that the terrorists' original plan was to hijack more planes and crash into more targets. Maybe four planes ended up being all they were capable of taking over. Congress might have been on the original "hitlist," but ended up being removed as they cut the list down. Again, this is something we'll probably never know for sure, but it sounds like a plausible scenario.

If one of the 9/11 skyjacked planes had hit the white house or congress, the moslem world be even more messed up than it is already today.

America would have taken off the gloves (this present war in Afghanistan and Iraq is not total war) and declared total war. This present war is a phase of half-assed diplomacy and restrained military action.

If things don't shape up soon or if extremie islamist take it to the next level ... the world of Mohammed is going to be in for a very big hurt.

Should I agree with you? Let me see how would the government structure be without congress...it would be like a chicken without a head; you should be grateful that there is a congress, otherwise the government will turn to a dictatorship.

How in the Hell would hitting the US Capitol "benefit" all Americans, Mr Bin Laden?

I do not think so. I do not know what would have happened had the US been required to replace 537 Senators and Representatives.

Yes thanks to those buttinskis on Flight 93. But at least we all got to enjoy watching them sing "God Bless America" that evening on prime time after they had time to change into clean underwear.
