I had a cockatiel who was just about 1 year old.. She was very sweet and was hand fed when little so she was very friendly. Saturday night she was fine (flying aorund, chirping, etc.. her normal activity. I was home all day Sunday and she was fine in the morning. At about 8 pm i walked out and found her hunched over in the front of the cage. I knew something was wrong.. I picked her up and she was jusrt looking at me... She kept closing her eyes and I would pet her to keep her awake. I wrapped her in a blanket to keep her warm and pet her to keep her calm but she died in my hands... I have no idea why. She had food and water and was fine just a couple hours earlier.. I'm so sad b/c she was a wonderful pet and i already miss her.. does anybody know why she oculd have died? I have heard if they catch a draft maybe? I'm so sad and I blame myself b/c i didn't know what to do to save her..

I have filed my taxes through H&R Block online. I got a email saying that my return was accepted yesterday and then a few hours later I got another email saying that my refund will be deposited in my account within 48 hours. Does this sound right? I thought that they did refunds on fridays for direct deposit not on a tuesday or wednesday. Also would the irs accept my refund yesterday as stated? (was it not a holiday for them?)

I got some thick keloid scars on my shoulder and i've been using mederma for a few days now to flatten them. Im not sure about the result that i will get. Does it really work? I need an advise from those who already using them.

I read that the Iraq invasion caused Iraq to lose its oil contracts where American and British oil companies seized those contracts.

I also read that Iraq's government needs to vote on having foreign oil companies (particularly the US and British) drill Iraq's oil reserves and keep 75% of the profits (leaving Iraqis with only 25% of the profits). The Iraqi government is influenced by the US, so of course it will vote in the favor of US and Brits oil companies.

US and Brit oil companies claim that this is the only way to get Iraq back on track with profiting from their own oil reserves.

Isn't this a classic example of imperialism? Woe to the Iraqi people for having their most valuable resource slowly being stripped from them.

My mum is constantly on about my weight I'm only about 5 pounds overweight but she keeps telling me I'll die if I don't do anything about it.
My little brother has special needs and he beats me up and gets away with everything.
My dads always grumpy.
My gran calls me fat and humiliates me infront of my Friends and family by making me feel really fat.
The only peson who really cared for my was my Grandfather whose now dead please help me!!!

We lived in a bungalow somewhere in sussex. Anyway we decided to wash our dogs, well actually we did not have much choice, we had taken them for a long walk and they were all muddy. Anyway we washed them and some of the water went onto her side of the lawn and she really got so angry, telling us not to let the dirty filthy water touch her lawn. Really went over the top.
Anyway so she wrote to the lady who's bungalow we hired and complained about us . The owner came and check out the bungalow to see what it was all about and instead of giving us notice like the neighbour would have liked her to complimented us on how neat and tidy her bungalow was and how beautiful the garden was.
I was so upset with the neighbour i collected at least 20 huge fat slugs and posted it through the postbox onto her floor. She was at work , naturally. Never heard a word about it, wonder what happened to them. But that was my worst and nastiest thing i have ever done.

over the last hour whilst i have been working o the net, periodically the page i am working on will just vanish and i get my screensaver up...i have to sign back into whatever i was doing...all cables etc are ok....and IP is working fine...so why is it just vanishing every so often...thanks....x

Hello, I am curently doing a project about the Millitary draft. I need to know do you think one is coming? Should the draft start up again? Should women be drafted also? My friend and I have known eachother for bout 4 years now and been "hookin up" for bout a year and a half. I've had boyfriends off and on during that time that he was aware of and knew I broke up with because I had really strong feelings for him. Its been just me and him for about 6 months now and I have gotten no commitment. He works for the State and I have a "not so good rep" with the authorities but No Record. I understand he has a serious rep to keep but I Dont understand why me being his Girlfriend needs to be such a secret anymore. I also hear rumors bout him and another person. Im so confused! I am 22 and he is 36 yrs old, I think he should be damn happy he's got himself a hott peice like this. I've tried to tell him that I wont wait forever but nothing seems to work. I also met this really sweet guy last week. Is it time for me to move on?
