There is a six hour time difference between Greenwich Mean Time and New Delhi. This time difference doesn't necessarily go for the entire country and India, being a large country, may span several time zones, as Russia and the United States do. However exact difference is 5:30 Just verify the timezone setting in your system. it depends on what region of Russia you mean. there are 11 time zones in Russia. if you mean Moscow the difference between NYC and Moscow is +8 hours. Difference between Moscow and Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi is +2.5 hours. you can check this in your computer, just click on the time icon (right lower corner of the screen) and you will see information on time zones in different parts of the world.
