Most people i know have no idea what Cricket is let alone what the rules are and how it's played. I am Canadian, i wear a toque, drink beer and watch hockey. i would be willing to bet that people in Asia where Cricket is played most know nothing about hockey.

Cricket is an insect to us not a sport. Many have never heard of it, the rest use it as a punchline.
To me I have to say that when half the announcers and fans of a game admit that they don't really understand all the rules to the game, there's a problem.

We think that we have a game called baseball from it that is played in the Olympics unlike Cricket
