I read that the Iraq invasion caused Iraq to lose its oil contracts where American and British oil companies seized those contracts.

I also read that Iraq's government needs to vote on having foreign oil companies (particularly the US and British) drill Iraq's oil reserves and keep 75% of the profits (leaving Iraqis with only 25% of the profits). The Iraqi government is influenced by the US, so of course it will vote in the favor of US and Brits oil companies.

US and Brit oil companies claim that this is the only way to get Iraq back on track with profiting from their own oil reserves.

Isn't this a classic example of imperialism? Woe to the Iraqi people for having their most valuable resource slowly being stripped from them.

I doubt that story or whatever it was you read is true being that according to the the Iraqi oil minister ( who spoke directly about this) says the oil legislation hasnt been finalized however the breakup will be percentage of population to percentage of oil spread between sunni shia and kurds (and this part has been agreed upon by all three factions). each will have control to do what they want with their oil so your numbers and assumptions cannot be correct.

No, the eastern invasion of maximum of Asia for the period of WWII exchange into an occasion of imperialism. huge distinction. there is approximately 11 years of history at the back of the strikes in Iraq that many people do not seem to learn in history books, or care to undergo in ideas. the defense force action in Iraq exchange into not a sparkling conflict, yet a continuation of the unique conflict that began in 1991, that ended with a end fireplace.

If Bush came on the air tomorrow and said this. I would credit the man and I'm not even American. At least that's a good reason for going to war.

See how that works? Your point is moot.
