Something that really bothers me about the concept of original sin: God made us. Why should we feel bad about the way he created us? (i.e. tendancy for greed, sex, etc)

Please don't answer freewill. God made everything, every concept of the universes. He made our tendancies to do things if we are to use freewill.

So why do people feel guilty? Also, aren't we supposed to be created in God's image? This really doesn't make sense to me.

It seems as if:
1. God creates the Universes
2. God creates us
3. We have tendencies to do certain things, either because of the way He made us, or because of the universe around us.
4. God gives us freewill so we sometimes act on those tendencies instilled in us by God
5. We need to feel bad that we do those things.


Please real answers only. This is a real question.

I started cramping on Friday night and last night the pain was so bad I cried myself to sleep. I am having a lot of pressure down there and a lot of cramping, but my period is not for another week and a half...any ideas what this could be? I wonder if it could be endrometriosis (sp) I am scared to death about this and want to eventually have children so I am stressed out. Last night the pain was so bad that I took medicine and it still didn't work and I even slept with a heating pad? Anyone experienced this? Or have any ideas? Please help

The style I'm going for is the opposite of bright and girly. I like darker colors. I have lots of decorated tees, a few plain colored tees, some thin sweaters, sweatshirts, cargo pants, dark and light boot-cut jeans, some skirts, black and brown belts, and a not a lot of jewelry besides earrings. I'm a newly wed (about 4 months), and my husband has a new "I've got you now, and I can act how I want to attitude". He doesn't care about what he does or how it makes me feel. He also doesn't care to hear about the things going on in my life unless it does him good in someway. BUT, he is always lovey dovey and in a great mood as long as he gets his way. Around 1990 my Humanities professor gave me a list of books (I think it named 100 of them) that anyone who considers themself well-read must read. The list included books on philosophy, the arts, music, fiction, non-fiction, history, and the Bible. The list was compiled from scholars and bibliophiles from around the world. I tried finding this list on Yahoo, Google, and Ask Jeeves, but so far book lists I found were narrow in perspective and were more of a suggestion for a "best" book list instead of a "required" book list for the well-read.
