has anybody use obagi nudem or any cream that has 2-4 % hydryquonon for melasma??? does it works???

if it does works , does it stay off or does it coming back as soon as you stop using the cream???and how can you prevent melasma from coming back???

I was on the Obagi regimen for three months, using the recommended aggressive approach that ensured the quickest results. My face dried up and peeled for weeks on end, and was very red and a little bit tender. I stuck with the program, though, and was glad I did, because I had baby-smooth skin after all the heartache! I didn't have to wear concealer nor foundation, my skin tone was even and my skin smooth as silk. All I needed was mascara and some lip and cheek stain and I was good to go.

The best part, though, was that the 2% hydroquinone element erased all my freckles, and to this day, they have not come back. I still use Obagi products to maintain the smoothness of my skin, but I never leave home without sunscreen with spf 50. My dermatologist told me that this will prevent the freckles from coming back. I am pretty confident that the same would apply to your melasma, Obagi is such a wonder-product.
