There were three guys talking in the pub. Two of them are talking about the amount of control they have over their wives, while the third remains quiet.

After a while one of the first two turns to the third and says, "Well, what about you, what sort of control do you have over your wife?"

The third fellow says "I'll tell you. Just the other night my wife came to me on her hands and knees."

The first two guys were amazed. "What happened then?" they asked. "She said, 'get out from under the bed and fight like a man'."

I am a 34 year old, 5'1" tall female who weighs 185. Last week I started myself on a fitness program. I cut my caloric intake down from 2500 cal/day to 1500 cal/day. I worked out on my treadmill for an hour each day. The incline was set at 10% and the speed was 2.5mph. I work in an office at a desk all day and cook for my family in the evenings. Today, a week later, I still weigh 185lbs. What did I do wrong?

In my box I am supposed to put anything that could improve the handwriting of the boys in my class (they are Year 6 - 10-11 years old). I have had some ideas, e.g. old key, treasure map to help them imagine being pirates), but I was wondering if anyone out there had any other good ideas (it could be writing about fiction, or non-fiction). I live in Ohio, so I rarely get to see the Patriots play. I want to know if there is a way to watch ONLY Patriots games live every week, on the computer, on the TV, wherever. I don't want the NFL Sunday Ticket, since that is for ALL teams. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

10 years ago I went travelling with a great mate, backpacked round Europe, travelled all over, met amazing people, had amazing times and generally lived life to the full for the best part of 2 years.

Now I'm married, 2 kids, mortgage, own business - a totally different type of satisfaction but I sometimes miss the freedom of the open road, not knowing which town / country you will be in when you wake up.

How does an eternal Peter Pan learn to grow up? I wouldn't change a thing about my life now but I miss the freedom - how do you handle that?

I think the Pistons are the team to beat in East. They are hungry cause they lost last year to heat. Adding webber only makes them strong. And that kid Jason maxiwell can play man he needs more minutes. Billups when he on is one of the best ever. i think Detroit going to win the east unless D-wade does another superhuman performance and knocks them out.

My daughters friend whom I have never met called me and told me that tonight he is suppose to go to his fathers over night and begged me and cried to please let him stay at our house instead. He said that once he is here he would like to call his mother and let her know that he is ok and where he is. I have met his mother before and she had once told me that she had suspected that her son was being abused by his father. Possibly sexually abused. She also said that he has also been physically abused and threatened by him. She said that he is a very wealthy and powerful business man and every attempt that she has made to get help he has manipulated social workers and authorities to the point where they have discredited her reports and have accused her of lying. Now this young boy is about to show up on my door step and I really dont want to get involved but I also don't want to close the door on him. He just might really need some help. What do I do?

yesterday i put a nestting box for my parakeets in there cage and the mom (tango,that has already and her first bunch) went in there as normal and the dad (kit-kat) was checking it out but then i saw one of the kids, but she is grown up, go into the box with the mom.
what r they doing r they just being friends or somthing else.
will that the kid get any ideas that about being the parent... if so what can i do i dont want this to be something really weird....if u know wat i mean
