One the table, side by side:
The Holy Bible and the TV Guide.
One is well worn, but cherished with pride,
No, not the Bible, but the TV Guide.

One is used daily to help folks decide;
No, it isn't the Bible, it's the TV Guide.
As the pages are turned, what shall they see?
Oh, what does it matter--turn on the TV.

Then confusion reigns; they can't all agree,
On what they shall watch on the old TV.
So they open the book in which they confide,
No, not the Bible, the TV Guide.

The word of God is seldom read,
Oh, maybe a verse as they fall into bed.
Exhausted and sleepy and tired as can be,
Not from reading the Bible, from watcing TV.

So then back to the table, side by side,
Is the Holy Bible and the TV Guide.
No time for prayer, no time for the word,
The plan of salvation is seldom heard.

Forgiveness of sin, so full and free,
Is found in the Bible, not on TV.

Today, I was running along a relatively dark corridor at the university, reading some papers, so I didn't notice that a smoke-protection glass door was closed until I ran nose-first into it. It was a big impact, everybody popped out of their rooms to see what happened. I put an innocent look and ran into my destination room.
This was 90 minutes ago (I hat to hear a lecture before I could get to a PC). Now, the pain has mostly disappeared, but I've got a big blue bruise on my nose, and I don't have any make up with me. Everything I could do was getting an ice-cold can of Coke and holding it against my nose, but I can't go into a lecture like that.
To make it worse, tomorrow is my birthday, and I wanted to look especially good. My boyfriend is taking me out and I'm afraid I won't be allowed into the chic restaurant with my boxer's nose.
What should I do? Please help!

I'm a Hotel Management college student and I'm supposed to have a five-month internship in the South East Asian region. Unfortunately, I have no idea where to begin. I've thought of Maldives, Singapore and Malaysian Borneo but I don't really know how the situation is there. Could somebody please give me info on those areas or suggest another place.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. :)

Hi, I met a guy via net. he's very flirty sweet talking, affectionate but seem lost wanting tobe loved like I do. am normally very conservative - parents want a traditional female. but now at 30's found myself with no experience with man and getting nowhere. I decide to change to the other extreme end. I made a mistake by sleeping with him the first time we finally met (something I've never done before). He was very eager and i just follow my body's reaction. I know i couldnt separate sex with emotions as well. but seem I've been thinking about hime too much to conclude it's just sex. I did hint he was in my thought the next day. he respond with dont want have serious relationship now because of ... is it worth to initiate another proper date with him since the first one was casual because I was too nervous and told him to go out as friend only - pathetic me. dont want scare him off but really attracted to him belindly :(

Basically, I've looked a little bit into the job and it sounds interesting... I've read all the pre-requisites, application process, et al, but I couldn't really find much about being a Special Agent on the site, so I was wondering if any one here could maybe just talk about what they do?

My biggest question was, do you get a lot of field duty? Are you actually out investigating, or are you sitting in the office doing paperwork? I know with investigation comes paperwork, but would you say you do a fair balance of each?

I won't be able to apply for at least eight years anyway, but I'm just trying to get a feel for it now to see what I can do that could make myself more valuable.

I've looked into the FBI jobs and it seems like they departmentalize everything too much... With NCIS, they made it sound like everyone gets more equal opportunity and learn more while still having some special background or skill that is valuable to the organization.

Ey, thanks in advance!
