Orinoco Flow by Enya, and I believe it is on her Watermark CD

Memories, by Glady's Night or Barbara Streisand, not sure of the albums

The Greatest Love Of All, Whitney Houston not sure of what the album name was.

Bitter Sweet Symphony, by The Verve.

Don't Cry For Me Argentina as a gag song off the Evita Soundtrack.

I hope some of these work for you. Good Luck to all of you.

Two songs come to mind, both are relatively slow and share similar messages.

"Life Goes On" by The Damned, it's about ... well, life going on. Kind of a sad tune, but it's not a bad song at all.
Actually... Talk Talk's "Life's What You Make It". It has a nice slower pace and the lyrics are simple but cut to the point and are very motivational. You can find that on their "Very Best of Talk Talk" album.

"So Long, So Long" by Dashboard Confessional(Dusk and Summer album). Very poignant lyrics for the occasion and great instrumentals. I think its one of the best songs you could find hands down. Plus it features the lead singer from Counting Crows.
