still, i'll try to help you out. remember that scout is just a kid and she judges based on what she learns, hears and sees. given her innocence, she is a witness to injustice without the need to be told that the outcome of the trial was not just. as she was taught that persecution comes from the prejudiced, don't you think she'll recognize the prejudice that occurs in her own hometown?
