help! Have you heard of this? Are many people allowed to come for a term to a year to visit and study at Harvard University? I'm from Australia. Have you heard of anyone from Australia or anywhere else for that matter being able to do their 4th year of medicine over there. There isn't that much on their website. Is it rare to visit? Do you have to pay normal tuition fees etc or can you receive financial aid? Is it as rare as getting a scholarship? Please help!

Suppose a "widget" cost $5.15.
The widget people pay minimum wage ($5.15 per hour) to thier bottom of the ladder workers.
The next leval of workers get $6.15
the next promotion gets you$7.15 and so on and so on.

Are you with me so far?

Minimum wage goes up to ,oh say,$7.50
Since the bottom of the ladder people now make $7.50 every one above thems pay goes up as well.

The "widget" peoples cost of manufacturing goes way up.
To stay in business they have to raise the price of a "widget" to $7.50
This effect takes place across every industry in the U.S.

It now takes $7.50 to buy what $5.15 used to buy.

Do you understand now?

I had sex about a month ago on December 10th. My period was due that thursday/friday (15th). It did not come. On that friday(15th) i had nausea and sore breasts. The nausea lasted 2 days and the sore breasts lasted for 5 days (they did grow and are still that size). I took a pregnancy test when i was 2-3 days late and came up negative(17th). 9 days after intercourse i felt a pain in my lower left abdomen that lasted for about 6 or 7 hours then i never felt again. After about 5 days of having sore breasts and nausea, my symptoms went away completely and that next thursday (1 week late for my period and 11 days after intercourse) i bled on the heavier side for 2 days and the period or implantation bleeding stopped after 6 days total. It has now been over 4 weeks... i have no pregnancy symptoms whatsoever, i am not tired.. only when i work and the only thing i have are headaches which i have always had even before now. i know the best thing is to take a test.. i just want an opinion.

Hey, I used to be in a ska band (trumpet) and we are playing a reunion gig in a few weeks after a few years not playing together. We need a song to cover that isn't already a ska song, so no Less than Jake, Reel Big Fish etc. It needs to be quite easy and have some good riffs for the trumpets and saxophones. So far we've thought of Love Machine by Girls Aloud and that's about it!! Any ideas anybody!? Pop music is absolutely fine and suggestions can be as random as you like, we just need ideas! Thank you!!

Yes I admit it I am a control freak. My partner and I are getting married in six weeks and I have searched high and low onthe internet for the wording to the civil ceremony so that I know what I will be expected to say and can't find a thing. Does anyone know the exact wording? I know it has something to do with saying you believe you can legally marry and that of your own free will you agree to be married but can anyone be more specific than that? Please only answer with wording for England/Wales and please don't suggest that we make up stuff - this is for legal purposes the romantic one comes next year.

Thanks

This is my first year being in this school and it is so hard for me to make the friends I want. I never had problems doing that because of my personaility and my features. Can any one give me some advice on how it might be a little easier to make friends? Or should I move back to where I came from?

Just because they're married, they feel more superior than others who are not. They like to generalized single women by saying we're either too picky or couldn't get a man to marry us. Some even give us that look as if there's something wrong with the thirty-something single women. Others give unkind remarks like we're the leftovers.

He is 16 months old. It's mostly the way he plays. He loves climbing chairs and ripping every bit of paper he can get his hands on, and his sister's pictures and paper dolls. He also loves to bang and hit everything. I had girls so I don't know what to tell my daughter when she questions if this is normal behavior for his age. Any opinions? Please don't answer with suggestions of how to keep things out of his reach, I want to know if the behavior is age appropriate or not. Thanks.
