Hey, I used to be in a ska band (trumpet) and we are playing a reunion gig in a few weeks after a few years not playing together. We need a song to cover that isn't already a ska song, so no Less than Jake, Reel Big Fish etc. It needs to be quite easy and have some good riffs for the trumpets and saxophones. So far we've thought of Love Machine by Girls Aloud and that's about it!! Any ideas anybody!? Pop music is absolutely fine and suggestions can be as random as you like, we just need ideas! Thank you!!

Love machine has already been covered by the artic monkeys. Even though I despise every breath the man takes I've already thought that Phil Collins Sorry would make a great Punk/ska cover. Good luck.

How about Taste of Honey - the old Tiajauna brass song? That would make the trumpet players happy.

Also a really fast Pink Panther would be fun for the saxes.

I've always wanted to a reggae version of craig david's '7 days', but a ska version would probably be good too.
