I had sex about a month ago on December 10th. My period was due that thursday/friday (15th). It did not come. On that friday(15th) i had nausea and sore breasts. The nausea lasted 2 days and the sore breasts lasted for 5 days (they did grow and are still that size). I took a pregnancy test when i was 2-3 days late and came up negative(17th). 9 days after intercourse i felt a pain in my lower left abdomen that lasted for about 6 or 7 hours then i never felt again. After about 5 days of having sore breasts and nausea, my symptoms went away completely and that next thursday (1 week late for my period and 11 days after intercourse) i bled on the heavier side for 2 days and the period or implantation bleeding stopped after 6 days total. It has now been over 4 weeks... i have no pregnancy symptoms whatsoever, i am not tired.. only when i work and the only thing i have are headaches which i have always had even before now. i know the best thing is to take a test.. i just want an opinion.

If you bled for six days, regardless of how late your period was, you are definitely not pregnant. It's possible that you may have been pregnant before you got your period and that was the reason for the heavy bleeding at the beginning when you finally did start. Miscarriages that early in pregnancy are extrememly common and most of the time, the woman never even knew about it. The reason for the negative test result was probably that it was just too soon in the pregnancy. Either way, I wouldn't waste your money on another test because you were either not pregnant, or have lost it.

I just recently went through the same thing. I was late for my period, and I took a pregnancy test taht came up negative. I then ended up getting my period a few days later, and I bled for about 10 days. I called my doctor and asked what I should do, and he ordered a blood test, which came up positive. I had miscarried. The only surefire way to find out if you are pregnant, is to get a blood test. The can do a blood serum test (much like a pregnancy test that comes up either positive or negative for HCG in your blood), or they can do a quantative test, which measure exactly how much HCG is in your blood. It give you a number or a count, and the higher the number, the more likely you are pregnant. I believe if the number is somewhere around five, you are considered either very early pregnant, or miscarried. I hope this helps. Pregnancy tests, especially negative ones, can be wrong. Some people dont have enough hormone in their system, to activate a pregnancy test. My recommendation is to get a blood test, and put your worries aside.

Well I'm not a Doctor so i won't pretend to know it all, but i have been preg. several times including misc., tubals and full pregnancies. I would say at this point you are not pregnant. You said a week later that you started your cycle. I have heard that when you are late that sometimes there may have been the beginnings of a preg. but it just didn't take so your body takes its natural course to exp ell it. However if you start to have any symptoms like pain, additional bleeding or no period again next month then i would go to the doctor. If you are trying to get pregnant and are ready then good luck. If not then please consider birth control.

Sounds lik you were just late on your period. Over 50% of pregnancies end up in miscarriage before you even know you were pregnant. You might of been pregnant, but probably not. See a doctor if you really want to know.

It sounds to me like you haven't anything to worry about. Sometimes girls get period symptoms a week or so before actual bleeding. And all those symptoms you described are period related. But if you really can't stop worrying, take another test. Also please tell your partner that one of you has to wear a condom. Or else you will have worse symptoms to worry about. Sincerely

sounds like you maybe under alot of stress or maybe you have a change in diet or excersise routine all those things can make your period change and be late. relax. try to not think about things. take a test to put your mind at ease. good luck

In my opinion, I don't think you are pregnant, although it wouldn't be a bad thing to take a test, but I'm sure it'll be negative.
