You know I have--all the time growing up. My sister lives in a small town about 5 miles west of here and they STILL have a noon whistle.
It conjures up memories of summers and grandpa Ed and Granny Belle's, and when the noon whistle blew I'd run up the block to meet Gpa Ed and jump into his arms. I think I'm gonna cry now. I miss them so!

My ex and I once lived in a small town in Minnesota that had a 10 p.m. whistle, of all things, and we lived right next to the whistle. It was horrible.

Worse. I went to some distance and started getting pulled by applying the ripe tides or besides the fact that their stated as. while they blew the whistle some cases, 2 lifeguards got here out. One swimming and one on those jet ski issues. i assume I went out some distance. I stored swimming yet could no longer quite make any technique, yet I never signalled for help by applying waving my palms. humorous factor while the existence look after on the jet ski jumped interior the water close to me he asked, howdy you want a journey. I laughed and suggested "are you able to suspect I quite have my bronze medallion in swimming!" I have been given on the jet ski, and that they picked up the different existence look after. on the tower we've been all joking approximately it, via fact my brother is a scientific first responder and for jokes they stated as him and asked him to return, via fact they have been uncertain if i necessary to circulate to the wellbeing middle. I swallowed alot of water =P I felt soo embarrassed, yet soo happy that they have got been out their watching me. PLUS THEY have been warm!!!! I have been given ones huge form ? the only that got here to the wellbeing middle with me. Yeah my brother made me circulate =P
