my mum used to make me meals and I'd be expected to eat them. Now I have kids of my own I wish I'd carried on doing this with my two. instead I've always given them a choice of what to have. Now they are a bit older they are asking for the same stuff all the time and won't try anything new. I know it's my own fault and I don't want any lectures, but has anyone else experienced this, and if so, what have you done to solve it?

Hi I live in a rented property...i pay my rent to a management company, who then are directed by the Landlord, when it comes to repairs etc etc..
The Landlord is often abroad, and at times cannot be reached, so the management company often stall when it comes to me needing a repair (like i do at the moment),and often when they cant get in touch with him, they dont inform me...or forget about the repair..!!! not good..!!

any advice, anybody in the same situation..???

I have a Matshita UJ-8205. When I tried to load one on my CDs the Driver didn’t read it. when the CD start to load it gives the normal loading sound and then sounds like the CD dragging and stops, when this thing happen for few times and eventually when the CD/DVD folder opens (which normally shows the files in the CD) the folder shows as empty. I tried few CDs and the same problem occurs. *In the properties of the cd/dvd drive The Status of the driver shows as working properly. *I tried to uninstall the driver and when the computer restarts it automatically detected the device and automatically installed the driver, but the problem still occurs. * I have the Device driver installation CD but want help as the CD diver won’t read CD. * I booted up the computer in Administrator safe mode, and tried to double click on the CD/Dvd drive and it gave this message-“Driver is not accessible the request could not be performed because of an I/O device error “ How can I solve this?

But occasionally we have menial arguments about little things, but we just make up at the of the day...Then not long after that, we find something else to argue about....

It happened again on the tube this morning yet I was in the middle of the carriage and this girl was down the other end yet I could still feel her eyes boring into me and when I looked up she quickly looked away, then it happened when another lady got on at the next stop ??! this is my reply to every1 who called me egotistical and up myself to the 'why is this guy so afraid of me', i didn't deserve the slating i got, possibly because i said i was popular and have a strong character. I'm crazy about this guy, and i've been crazy about him for years. Other people have told me he's really shy, and it's hard liking someone like that. I'm not egotistical, i am very popular at uni, but not because i'm cool, because i'm a nice person, and i try to be humble and i'll always listen to you if you've got something on your mind. I say i have a strong character because i've beaten my shyness which almost destroyed my life. I asked the question because i get mixed messages from him, that's all, and being shy before i know how painful it is to be misunderstood, or seen as conceited when sometimes your just too terified to talk. I just wanted to know if he's shy around me because....he might like me?

I have had 2 children whose father is an illegal from mexico, he has never recieved any welfare benefits of any kind, has always worked and had taxes taken from his pay, He is a good man and wonderful father to our children and makes sure our needs are met and we are taken care of. If he was to be deported how do you think it would affect my children?? everyone seems to think them being here is a problem and we are all entitled to our own opinions, but I feel the reality of it is having them leave will only create bigger problems, how many american women who have their children will lose the provider for their family and be forced to go on welfare, how many young children growing up without their father will turn to drugs or crimes? How many will emotionally carry scars as a result? Do we ever as americans look at it that way to???

I once got my friend to ring an ex girlfriend to tell her I had died rather than call her and break up. It seemed like a good idea (drunk at the time) until she arrived at my parents house with a card and had been crying for 2 days. Boy did she get a shock when I opened the door. Sorry again Emma.

Example: The big bang theory (from my understanding of it) says all the matter in the universe was somehow packed into a dot the size of a period. Then it rotated faster and faster (by some unknown energy) until it finally exploded BOOM! sending out debris and matter all directions and ended with the universe as we know it. By scientific law, if an object is spinning one way and releases an object away from it, that object will keep spinning (with no resistance because there is no matter to form friction against said object) the same way.
Why then are some planets and moons spinning opposite ways?
