Well there was the story from the Civil War involving a bullet which grazed the testicle of a Union soldier and lodged itself within the ovaries of a young Virginia farm girl, who then became pregnant.
That less good 4 female.

Most doctors agree natural is best when possible Artificial insemination isn't too expensive, but IVF can run anywhere from 7,000 to 16,000.
As for me I had my children the old fashioned way and had a lot of fun trying!

Not all women can get pregnant through sex or through artificial means, some women can not carry babies to term or have autoimmune responses to pregnancy that cause miscarriage. Artificial terms of concieving are not without there own problems.
Most women enjoy sex with their partner even if they are not trying for a baby. Pehaps I misunderstand your question but it seems as if you have some unhealthy views of sex.

Nowadays, women do not need sexual intercourse to produce babies. IVF is quite common. Some labs can even remove the genetic material from another egg to "fertilize" a woman (like cloning but this has yet to be confirmed in humans).
Whether or not this is a good thing for women remains to be seen. It is incredibly interesting and liberating though!
