A 60 foot rope is looped thru a pulley 36 feet above the ground. A lantern is attached to one end. The other end is held by a man six feet tall. The man starts walking away from the point on the ground directly beneath the pulley (and beneath the lantern) at a rate of five feet per second. He is holding onto the rope head-high. When the man is 40 feet away from the point on the ground directly beneath the pulley, what is the rate of change of the length of his shadow that is cast by the lantern?

Hi all,

I have 3 years of experience in Oracle Pl/Sql Development, Forms and Reports (9i Developer OCP and 9i DBA OCP) and I am
currently in Singapore. . I am looking for some oppportunities so that I can get shifted to APPS domain as an APPS Technical
Developer. So I am about to start learning Oracle APPS on my own.

But after learning the same, kindly please guide me, regarding what best are my employment opportunities in Singapore with
this profile. Because by that time I will not be having any Work Experinece in Oracle APPS (but only knowledge in Oracle
APPS) and will companies in Singapore be ready to take a person with this kind of profile (One who has technical and work
experince in Oracle Pl/Sql, Forms and Reports + technical knowledge and no work experince in Oracle APPS) ?

Give me some examples. Study the Books of the Law, Genesis-Deuteronomy, go through Bible class, you don't have to be a Christian to do it, although helpful to understand anything beause the Bible is spiritually understood, not just a whim, oh I think I going to read this and find contradictions. i had a few of friends over (ages 21 -27) and one of them brought up the fact that they accidently walked in on their parents (age 50+) being intimate and it sparked a discussion some thought that their parents had ceased 'the act' years ago, some felt they should have ceased 'doing it' years ago and some didn't really care and some thought it was great their parents were still attracted to each other after so many years but still didn't want to walk in on 'it'...my question is two part...at what age do you think your parents stopped 'doing it'...and/or what age do you think they SHOULD stop?

My sister has been married for 6years
my father his hates him, he calls him ******.
and alot of other nasty names in front of their 5yrold son.
My sister is 29 and hates that my dad acts like this.
On thanksgiving my dad accutly threatend to slit his throat and than smashed him in the head with a beer bottle.
Last year he put a onion in my brother in-laws sandwich knowing they make him violently ill. He has hit him with a baseball bat in front of my newphew also.
He teaches my newphew to call his father a fudge packer and other gay slurs. I dont understand Matthew(my brother in-Law)
is always so nice to my father. He has gave my sister a wonderful life and treats all women with the best respect. But my father still hates him.

What should i do to make my father stop.

I like Spanish and Biology a lot and have a passion for both subjects.I passed AP Spanish Language exam with 3 and I am currently AP Spanish Literature and enjoying (Im the the only non-native speaker in the class). I took AP Biology exam and passed with 5.I would be willing to double major in both. Since I hear that admission officers are looking for candidates who are real people and not to focused on acedmics. What do you think? Should I double major in Spanish and Biology or should I major in only one subject.

I noticed maggots in some of my rooms in the house and then went into the shed and they were allover the garage

so I tried bug spray boiling water, disifectant and bleach I also hosed them right onto the road and I just had a look and they are finding there way back and coming under the garage door!!!!

so I have been squishing them but I cant kill them all this way

any other ideas, I have a crawling baby and dont want them to find him or vice versa...
