What are some romantic/sweet ideas I can do for the anniv. with my boyfriend of 3 years?

Think about your past 3 years. Select two or three periods of time when you were really happy or things seemed to be going right for the two of you. These are the moments when you are really glad to be alive. Talk with one another about what made that period of time so enjoyable. Watch an old movie together, or listen to some favorite music together. Make some time for the two of you. Find a way where you won't be disturbed by phone calls, children, work, friends, etc.

this doesnt cost a whole lot but it is very romantic. Clear out a spot in a room, put down a blanket, fix a picnic dinner of his favorites, you can use candles for light. Put a note on the front door telling him you have a surprise for him but he has to follow the trail (you can use kisses or rose pedals), leave little notes telling him what he means to you. Then you can be sit on the blanket waiting for him when he gets to the end of the trail. Trust me he will never forget it. I hope this helps.
