I like Spanish and Biology a lot and have a passion for both subjects.I passed AP Spanish Language exam with 3 and I am currently AP Spanish Literature and enjoying (Im the the only non-native speaker in the class). I took AP Biology exam and passed with 5.I would be willing to double major in both. Since I hear that admission officers are looking for candidates who are real people and not to focused on acedmics. What do you think? Should I double major in Spanish and Biology or should I major in only one subject.

To be honest, it's not worth the risk. You're talking two hard majors here. Throw in the competition you'll face in the pre-med science courses, it's gonna be a ton of work.

I'd only do it if you're a genius. You sound like you're only considering it to look better to med schools. That's not a good reason to take on such a daunting task.

You should go for it. Even after the biology coursework, you will still need electives, so you might as well turn the electives into a double major. Plus, the spanish gives you something to fallback on in case biology or medicine doesn't work out.

If you can handle it,...go for it. Being fluent in Spanish can only help.
