I noticed maggots in some of my rooms in the house and then went into the shed and they were allover the garage
so I tried bug spray boiling water, disifectant and bleach I also hosed them right onto the road and I just had a look and they are finding there way back and coming under the garage door!!!!
so I have been squishing them but I cant kill them all this way
any other ideas, I have a crawling baby and dont want them to find him or vice versa...

Thanks for your answers, we have only been in this house for a few weeks and have had a pretty bad bug problem that I am slowly getting a handle of.
I just keep going out and squishing them every hour or so but am starting to think they arent maggots but some kind of caterpiller because they are going where there is no food whatsoever like in am empty room...

Flies lay maggots where there is old food or something has died there. You need to completely go through your garage, empty it out and see if you can find the source. Then clean clean clean the whole area. You may have to have a pest-control service come in also and use the professional-strength spray to help control it. Good luck, I know those things can be disgusting.

There was a dead rat in my attic and maggots started dropping out of the ceiling.... I was kinda in the same situation. The pest control guy told me maggots only show up when there is something good to eat or they are attracted to something like a dead animal. Try looking for this thing and if you dont find it, just let whatever it is decompose and the maggots will slowly go away.

Maggots can only survive if they have food to eat. Is your garbage the problem? Make sure all food scraps are wrapped securely before placing in bin so the flies cannot blow them. Keep the garbage bin away from the house so they are unable to crawl inside.

making sure that your house is very clean and no food lying out i have an idea that well your not going to like it.
if it is all over your house, something might have died in walls or vents. Maggots eat rotting flesh so there is something dead about. good luck.

Maggots are larvae of house flies. Flies will lay their eggs on things like rotting meat, carrion. If you have any dead animals around the house, for example, get those out of your yard. See if you can figure out where they are coming from (or what they are heading to) and get rid of that.
Also, because they are insects, any insecticide should get rid of them.

maggots come from flies. to have that many, there must be something dead laying around rotting. are you sure its maggots? they dont just crawl all over that much area.
