Is Christmas Worshipping God in Vain?
Since Christmas is a jumble of ancient pagan customes invented by men, and a holiday found nowhere in the Bible, does God honor or accept such worship?
Jesus provides the answer in His stern rebuke of the religious teachers of his day, men who had substituted human traditions and teachings for God's divine truth and commands " Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites....' in vain they worship me, teaching doctrines the commandments of men' All to well reject the commandment of God , that you may keep your tradition " ( Mark 7:6-9)

You know in the 17th Century christmas was actually outlawed in England and some parts of American colonies because of its unbiblical and pagan origins. They knew something most people today have forgotton or have never known.

Please tell me what you think on this issue

in a different question i said i felt it was to hard to be happy and i was lonely, and i felt like giving up. i honestly described my situation and most people told me i was depressed. i would believe them except i'm only 13. is it possible to really be depressed at my age? read my other question. everything i said was true and not over exaggerated. i'm not doing this for attention either. What do you think?

I am seriously considering adopting a dog but I am having reservations because I will have to leave him/her at home for 8-9 hours a day during the week and I live in an apartment in NYC. Are there any breeds that are best for this situation or any ideas? If its not good for the dog, I won't adopt.

My mom and her "Boyfriend" bought fish about 3-ish-4 weeks ago, and some died, bought more fish, more died, about.....18-20 fish have died, mainly from ick. how do you prevent the stupid fish from dieing!!!???

Can I simply switch hard drives in a laptop - assuming they are the same type, etc? I have a damaged laptop that I am selling but want to keep my hard drive and buy another (same) model. If I put my hard drive in my replacement laptop should everything work, assuming the rest of the replacement laptop is OK?

He wakes up all night!!! The other night he woke up 11 times between 10pm and 6am. He only takes 1-2 naps during the day 1 around 10am for maybe a hour and then again around 4pm for an hour. I try and let him cry/scream but he bothers the other kids. I hate it because the 1st half hour-hour after waking up in the morning to get the other kids ready for school I am real grumpy and it bites cause I know I am and I try not to be but every little thing pisss me off and I feel bad for my other boys. My other kids didnt sleep like this. And to top it off I am 8 months pregnant due Jan 21. Me taking naps during the day really isnt an option because the other kids in school in sports and other after school activies. My husband works 6-7days a week. The doctor dosent seem to think there is anything wrong with his sleep patterns.

I've been a Madden player for several years. I usually play franchise mode and use coach mode during the games, as I suck at actually controlling the players.

I've been debating spending $20 go get NFL Head Coach, but I've read mixed reviews.

Is this game worth getting, or is it too slow and glitchy to enjoy, as I've heard elsewhere?

My cat is a female, about 2 years old. I may have been imagining it, but last night her ears looked reddish on the inside and they were pretty warm to the touch. Is this how a cat shows a fever? Or what else could it be? I'm taking her to the vet soon for a regular check up but wanted to know if I should rush her in sooner?

I have a Belkin wireless router and cable internet. The 1st computer is connected directly to the modem. I installed a network card on the 2nd pc not on the 1st. My gf father tells her things like "you should use more tanning lotion to look better", or "your belly is like that of a trucker" or "you have boxer shoulders", or "you shouldn't eat that much so you don't get fatter".He demands that she "look good" when they go places. He told her to fix herself up one day when he took her to a party with his co-workers. Now she is very beautiful. She is a little chubby, but she isn't fat and I frankly don't find any flaws on her and love her to death.She is attached to her dad and will probably end this relationship eventually because he says no. She keeps telling me that he is a nice guy. Wtf!!! She also thinks he is very handsome, but he looks like crap. I hate how he has made her insecure like this. I tell her she is beautiful, and she rolls her eyes!But she is still willing to break up with the guy who treats her like a princess for jackass dad. Isn't what he does emo abuse?y then is she so attached to him?
