My OPK tests have been postive for 3 days now, so am I ovulating now, or about to in the next 12-36 hours.

When an OPK is positive you should be ovulating in the next 12-36 hours, after you ovulate, you will get a negative test. Remember OPK's are not like pregnancy tests, the second line must be as dark or darker than the control line to be a true positive.

Once you see a positive, have sex for 3 days in a row. (at least that's what my Dr told me) that way there is sperm waiting when the egg is released.

If you've had positive results for 3 days, you are probably ovulating now. You should start to see the test line fade with the next few tests you take. The test line should be it's darkest right before you ovulate. Have a great time for the next few days after that.

Granted, the directions say that "positive" is only when the test line is as dark or darker than the control line. But what you're looking for here is a peak in the hormones (when the line is darkest). I never actually had a "positive" result for the 2 months before I actually conceived. But I'm pregnant nonetheless.
