It depends onw here you are crossing the border. Some places are open 24/7 and others close at times

It is always open...with the exception of some very small remote crossings manned by cameras...and a two way radio or telephone.

Todd is incorrect. Many of the small crossing points are closed for parts of the overnight.

If it is an offical boarding crossing it is always open. They will have less entry gates open at later hours and more during rush hours.
