Good music never gets old. Besides listening to old rock, you should get into jazz. Parker, Dizzy, Louis, Duke, Billy, and Ella. It's still as good today as was was then.

Definetly, especially because I am a young person and don't understand why not listen to older music. The worst of it is that most music today is influenced by older music. Or songs are sampled and used. I mean jimi hendrix, come on, he's the ultimate as a base for different music types. I like all kinds of music, and what I don't like is music that should never have been made.

You just have good taste and an advantage over the other 17 year olds. I am a late 70's baby, and my mom raised me to appreciate everything from what was new in my childhood, to disco, classical, country and classic rock! Your friends may not know what they're missing but not everybody has an ear for music so they just get stuck on one type. At least you won't ever get bored with your vast taste in music.

Music is a matter of preference. Do you listen to their music? My daughter is 17 and although she listens to bands like "Red Hot Chili Peppers" and a lot of other bands I'm not familiar with, she also listens to Hank Williams, The Eagles, The Doors, Loretta Lynne...she is actually quite diverse in her music taste.

great question! i think of that's a mixture of the two the previous and contemporary as nicely as our character. I used to hate all of the music performed through my dad and mom at abode or in the motor vehicle yet as I grew older i began out to heat in direction of them and settle for them extra. The lyrically content those days is terrible and in case you look at the 'function fashions' for babies, it particularly is saddening. Elvis and different older bands are ones that I even have accompanied from my dad and mom and that i now understand why they hate or dislike the present popular (in case you will) of music. BQ1: It replaced with what I confronted particularly, i replaced into particularly into HIp Hop and then whilst melancholy set in I listened to a great type of emo and punk Rock. those days are over and that i'm listening to some old college stuff like Bob Marley, Elvis, UB40 to call some. I additionally began a extra helpful strategies-set in existence and listened to music which pondered such replace BQ2: i like Hip Hop/Rap and additionally some cutting-edge - Artists: Lecrae, trip Lee, Braille, Leeland, 10th highway North, Hillsong and so forth

I feel Hendrix is the greatest guitarist ever, but he is definitely not my favorite guitarist ever. Everyone has certain tastes.
